Tossed BitsCarefully tossed bits of carmelization That glint gingerly on the nettle floor Like dozens of amber pebbles. The light is caught and dances Until it can be free. Faded pine needles like dimmed fire Create the springy turf. Nestled in the spineless sticks, Where nothing can find a body, And cool from the summerset's keep. The blue little berries drift in shallows Unable to conceive of the river And its mighty torrent. Imploring bits of mossy green bud Scattered along a broken bit of string Calling out to anything that can see The deep brown of the rTossed Bits
-::.::-When the marbleized moonlight Graces upon eyes darkened By loneliness and fear, Where worlds so easily meet and merge, Slurred and blurred, By the mind's careful hands, So little can be shown So little can be seen Of the once blossoming hope Which made the iris gleam. The stagnant murky waters Can be reawakened Once more imbued With fluid motion and light.-::.::-

Lens drawn in closely, I captured him, bound to high-gloss paper. Saved to the computer's system.
He changed his lens a week ago, but it's out of focus, printing him an opaque finish.
"I'm taking a break," he spoke, ink-smeared from the collapse of the umbrella, the high-gloss paper waterlogged.
